Welcome to the Marvin Primary School webpage! My name is Heather Smyth and this is my second year as the principal of this amazing school. I also had the pleasure of teaching here as well for 10 years in grades 1st, 3rd, and 4th. I also attended Pleasant View from Kindergarten through 12th grade. 

At Marvin, we teach our students 1st to love learning so we can see them grow and develop into lifelong learners. We do our best to make school a fun place to be so our students want to be and can learn the skills they need to in order to be successful in life. In January 2021, we began implementing a new literacy curriculum and cannot wait to see the gains our students make with it. The best thing you can do for your child is read to them, with them, or listen to them read every night. Parents, thank you for sending your children to Marvin Primary where we reach one student at a time...every time!
