Pleasant View parents and students: Afterschool tutoring is cancelled today due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Parent/Teacher conferences will be Thursday, October 15th, 2020. The time will be 3-9 pm. We ask that conferences be held by phone or other electronic means if possible due to COVID-19. Please make an appointment if a face to face conference is absolutely necessary. Face Masks are required for any face to face conferences and social distancing is expected if entering any school building. Parents of virtual learners are greatly encouraged to call their students’ teachers. All parents and guardians are asked to regularly check the progress of their students.
Tomorrow (October 10th) is the last Virtual Learning Saturday for MPV Schools. We appreciate all the teachers and students for going the extra mile to accomplish these days of make up which were required. We can now look forward to full holidays as they arrive! Have a great weekend everyone and please encourage our students to complete the Saturday assignments.

COVID-19 Numbers for September 30, 2020: 3 staff members positive, 4 staff members quarantined, 1 student positive, and 25 students quarantined. .
MPV will have a Wellness Meeting at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. The meeting is for the purpose of approving school breakfast and lunch menus as well as discussing healthy activities for the students, staff and community. The public is invited. Please remember to wear a mask if attending. The meeting will be held in the District Administration Building.

MPV has had a second employee test positive for COVID-19 resulting in 13 students having to quarantine. The total number for today, September 28th is 2 employees testing positive and 19 students quarantining.
MPV has an employee who has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result of the positive, 6 students have been quarantined. This is a statement for September 28, 2020.
Tomorrow, September 26, 2020 is our 4th Virtual Learning Saturday. We only have two more after tomorrow. Please support our students in completing the assignments. Our teachers and principals are available for students by email. There will not be any students or staff at the school sites physically.
There will be a Title 1 meeting at 5:30 P.M. Thursday evening, September 24, 2020. The meeting will be held in the District Administration Building. The district will share information about the use of federal funds to meet the needs of our students. We will also have our Annual Report to the Public at 5:45 p.m. This meeting will be for the purpose of sharing the current academic and financial status of MPV School District. The address is 424 Alma Avenue, Mulberry, AR.
Tomorrow, September 19th, 2020 is a Virtual Learning Day. Please direct questions to the appropriate school principal. It is important to remember that completed school assignments will be the method for recording attendance. It is also important to remember that no students or staff are required to be physically present at the school site.

The Mulberry/Pleasant View Bi-County School District is excited to announce a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for our new MPV Auditorium. It will be held September 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. . The public is invited. Masks will be required and temperatures will be taken due to COvID-19. Parking is limited at this time. Overflow parking will be available in the high school parking lot East of Mulberry High School and in an open lot west of MPV Auditorium on Alma Avenue.
Reminder: Saturday, September 12th (day after tomorrow) is a virtual learning day for MPV School District. This will be the 2nd of 6 virtual days we are doing. Please support our students in providing and completing these assignments or assessments. Completing the assignment counts as the daily attendance.

Governor Asa Hutchinson announced that school district data reflecting the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in each school district will be reported on the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) website. Additionally, trend information on new cases in school district zones can be found on the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI) website. MPV has a Point of Contact (POC) identified to be the liaison with ADH and a process in place to help minimize the risk in out schools. As cases associated with students or staff in the school district are confirmed, those individuals will be notified by health department officials. Any student or staff member who has been identified as a probable close contact will be notified by health department officials or the District POC and will be advised of next steps. For the privacy of students and staff, MPV will not be sharing any detailed information related to individual cases. We are committed to providing the safest learning environment and will continue to follow guidance by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Arkansas Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in conjunction with the Arkansas Department of Health.
Saturday, August 29th is a Virtual Learning Day. Principals and teachers will inform students of the day’s assignment. Teaches and Principals will be available on Saturday via email if needed. Please call your school principal if you have questions. Encourage all students to engage with the planned assignment.
