Hello students and parents of Pleasant View Campus. I want notify you of a few things.
1. If you have been quarantined, please make sure you are completing your assignments on Google Classroom. If you need a chromebook or hotspot for quarantine purposes, please call the office. If you have any questions about your assignments, please email your teachers.
2. After-school Tutoring for Pleasant View will start next Monday (9/13). Forms were sent home yesterday and today. If you are interested, please fill out the form and return it to school. Tutoring will be Mon-Thur from 3:30 - 5:30.

The Covid Vaccine Clinic is today. The time is 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The location is MPV Auditorium at 424 Alma Avenue in Mulberry. All are welcome.
I would like to encourage those seeking a place to receive the COVID vaccination to come to the MPV Auditorium on Wednesday, August 25 (424 Alma Avenue). The hours of our vaccination clinic are 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Students 12-17 may receive the vaccine if parents are present to give approval. Adults 18 and up are all invited.
In my opinion, this is the best way to keep ourselves, our students, our colleagues and our community safe.

Reminders concerning our best options to keep students and adults in school while not mandating face masks during this Pandemic:
1. Vaccinated students (12 and up)or adults are not required to quarantine if determined to be a close contact of a Covid positive person unless he/she (the close contact)were to show symptoms of being positive.
2. Mask wearing students and adults are not required to quarantine if determined to be a close contact of a Covid positive person if both the positive person and the close contact were wearing masks ...unless he/she (the close contact)were to show symptoms of being positive.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at 424 Alma Avenue, Mulberry on Friday, July 30th 1-4 p.m.
The location is MPV Auditorium and MPV employees will direct people to the location of the vaccination clinic.
Monday, July 26th is the next COVID-19 Vaccination opportunity. Ages 12 and up are eligible. Minors will need to have a parent or guardian present. Time is 1-4 p.m. and location is MPV Auditorium at 424 Alma Avenue in Mulberry.
98% of COVID hospitalizations and 99% of COVID deaths are among those unprotected (unvaccinated).
Some will receive 2nd round but 1st round of vaccination will also be available. Protection is the best deterrent to spread according to medical experts.

Who: Anyone 12 years of age and older. (Parents/guardians must come with minors)
Important Information: several people are scheduled for the 2nd dose of the vaccine, but 1st time doses are available to those needing to come.
There will be a meeting in the District Administration Office on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.to discuss the MPV Title 1 Budget. Discussion will be centered on how the federal funds are budgeted to meet the needs of our students. Parents and guardians are invited to attend.

Reminder: COVID-19 Immunizations given today 1-4 p.m. The clinic is being held in the MPV Auditorium located at 425 Alma Avenue. In Mulberry. The second round of the vaccine will be given July 26th at the same location.
This is a reminder that MPV Schools will host a COVID-19 Immunization opportunity on Monday, June 28th 1-4 p.m. The vaccinations will be given at the MPV Auditorium. Ages 12 and up may participate. Children must have a parent or guardian with them. Bring an insurance card and ID. If no insurance card, come anyway. Second dose will be July 26th.

Students may be picked up by parents at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 27th, 2021. Buses will leave Marvin Primary at noon to deliver students home. Parents with students riding buses should expect students to arrive at home about 3 hours earlier than usual on Thursday.
